• A checklist covers version bump, database migrations, index rebuild needs, configuration changes, container build, and smoke tests.
• A script or task runs formatting, lints, tests, and security checks.
• A change log entry template is provided.

Tasks

• Write the checklist and store it in the repository.
• Create a make or task runner target for pre‑release checks.
• Add a change log template and examples.
