Release stable version 1.1.8

This issue has been opened to track the release of Cloudbase-Init version 1.1.8.
Supported Python versions: 3.12, 3.13, 3.14.
Windows installer Python version: 3.13.13.

To dos:

• Bump to 1.1.9
• Push tag on github
• Push pypi release
• Create the Windows installers
• Update the stable Windows installers link to point to latest stable installers
• Create Github release

Currently only the betas are signed. Will the stable releases be signed too?

Thanks for the report, stable installers are being rebuilt now with the signing.

@gwe32 stable installers have been rebuilt with the signing step enabled. Can you please confirm that those work as expected?
Now, the latest stable urls have been updated to 1.1.8 as well.
