Hi , I'm Piero Zappi

About me:

I specialize in Scientific Machine Learning, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Deep Learning and High-Performance Computing.

I am experienced in developing data-driven and physics-based computational models across both research and production environments, spanning CFD surrogate modeling and quantitative financial systems.

🚀 Current work

Currently, I am a Fintech Analyst at Modefinance (TeamSystem), focused on quantitative modeling and workflow automation. I develop, test and deploy Python models for automated financial analyses and credit risk assessment, supporting scalable and data-driven client decision processes.

My work spans the full product lifecycle, from model development and maintenance to data validation pipelines and the design of API-ready components for integration with external client systems. I also develop interactive frontend interfaces for client-facing platforms and produce technical documentation for both internal and external use.
